Pink Cupcake

This cute cupcake card is for 3 different challenges this week.

This cupcake was cut from the Create A Critter cartridge at 3" with the face hidden. The frosting was glittered with Sugar Coating Glitter from Doodlebug Designs. 'Thanks' was cut from Gypsy Wanderings at 1.5" with the 'Give' hidden. The ribbon is from Walmart. The inside sentiment was printed from my computer and cut with the Accent Essentials cartridge.

Snowflake Card

I haven't been very good about posting my projects, so this year it is one of my goals to post more things on my blog. I also am going to challenge myself more and put forth a greater effort to participate in more challenges. So this week I have made this cute snowflake card that is for two challenges - Fantabulous Cricut (Snowy Delights) and Made by Momo ("snow" or "snow theme").

To make this card I used dark purple cardstock for the base, a white mat and then printed paper by BoBunny. I punched white and light purple cardstock to add an edge to the bottom. I wrapped a snowflake ribbon around the bottom of the mats and then I added the 3" Cricut cut snowflake with foam tape. I added Stickles to the center cutouts of the snowflake along with a gem in the center.

Stickles - Crystal
Printed Paper - BoBunny Winter Joy Frosty
Snowflake - Cricut cartridge When It's Cold Outside
Punch - EK Success
Ribbon - Michaels

Thanks wood letters

These are wood letters that I covered with Imaginisce Apple Cider line of papers. They are super cute double-sided papers with embossing. I think they turned out really cute - the picture doesn't even do it justice. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Halloween blocks

I got this idea from our local scrapbook store. I modified it from the one they had to make it my own but I think it turned out pretty darn cute. They are made with 2 x 4 wood blocks and I used the BoBunny Whooligans papers for background. The phrases were cut from the Mini Monsters cartridge (with a little modification). Embelishments were from BoBunny and Doodlebug Designs.

Get well card

My mom had surgery last week so I was teaching my kids that it is nice to send get well cards to people who aren't feeling so good. While I was creating this card my little boy was creating his own. I was very impressed that he worked so hard and intent to make grandma his own card.

Word blocks

I picked up this kit at our local scrapbooking store to make these blocks that have six sayings : dream, learn, hope, love, faith, and laugh. It's nice to have one project that you can change and keep out all year. I thought they turned out really cute.

Emma'sThrowback Thursday Challenge

I have been following Emma's blog for a while now and have absolutely loved all the fun projects that are submitted for her challenges. So I finally decided to attempt my first challenge and here it is.

Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge for this week was to use Zooballoo for an animal themed project. Since I don't own Zooballoo, I found this cute horse to use on the Create A Critter cartridge. The sentiment is also on the Create A Critter cartridge. I would love to hear any comments or suggestions. I had a lot of fun doing this challenge and can't wait for next Thursday to attempt my next project!
